Folders
To enable replacements in files in
more folders at once, in one batch, there is the list of folders
in which the files will be looked for. This list typically
contains one or several entries.
The user can specify whether sub-folders should be looked into.
This is possible in three ways:
- None - none
of the sub-folders will be looked into.
- 1st level -
folders placed in the specified folder will be looked
into. The folders nested deeper will be ignored.
- All levels -
sub-folders of all levels will be recursively looked
through.
Hint: if you need to replace one
string in one file only, you don't need to specify any folder.
Instead, select File | New | Simple Replacement from the
main menu.
